Cue fancy camera! My photography is all about capturing the you that you are and telling the story you want to tell. I am not a point-and-shoot photographer. When you book me, you are signing up for a session full of getting to know each other, shaking out the awkward photo jitters, and finding joy in the moment. Located in Cary, but serving the Triangle and surrounding areas of NC, I cannot wait to tell your story!
Since starting in 2025, Marrisa Higgs Photography, my pride and joy, has flourished, serving numerous satisfied clients. Transitioning from mere photography to storytelling, my photography style enables me to connect authentically with my clients, yielding breathtaking visuals that preserve cherished memories!

I promise two things: 1. You will look incredible, and 2. I will never make you do that awkward ‘hand-on-the-chin’ pose from the 90s. Most of us aren’t professional models, and that’s okay. I’m here to handle the lighting, the angles, and the ‘what do I do with my hands?’ anxiety so you can just show up and be yourself. Let’s ditch the stiff poses and capture something that actually feels human.
